Culinary Genius is a British ITV cooking entertainment program which see nine people battle it out in three rounds to see if they have what it takes to be the best chef. The series was created and produced by Gordon Ramsay. The series was announced 1 March 2017 by ITV when they had announced that they had commissioned a new cooking show with a twist. The first episode airing on 17 April 2017.
Summary
Cookery competition hosted by Fern Britton in which nine contestants battle it out daily in a series of challenges for a £1,000 cash prize, with a different professional chef presiding over the kitchen each week. In the first edition, Gordon Ramsay sets the contenders their tasks in the three rounds, demonstrating how two of them should be done.[1]

Development and production
It was announced in March 2017 that Gordon Ramsay and ITV had created a new daytime cooking show for ITV, the series is produced by Ramsay himself. The show was filmed at The London Studios in front of a live studio audience. The first series will be made up of 20x60 minute episode with the first airing on 17 April 2017 and will run for 4 weeks. An American version of the show, again produced by Ramsey airs on selected Fox owned stations in the US.
