The Cugir River ( Hungarian: Kudzsir-patak ) is a left tributary of the river Mureș in Romania. It discharges into the Mureș in Șibot.

The river starts at the confluence of headwaters Râul Mare and Râul Mic

The lower reach of the river starts downstream of the railway bridge over the river, which then divides into two branches:
