Croatia national football team results

This is a list of the games played by the Croatia national football team since Croatia gained independence from Yugoslavia in 1990.

List of matches

The following list contains matches of the modern Croatia national football team played as part of their FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Football Championship campaigns, as well as international friendlies.

The list includes matches as listed by the official chronology maintained by the Croatian Football Federation (CFF). Note that the first three matches in 1990 and 1991 during the breakup of Yugoslavia marked with "‡" had been played before CFF was admitted to FIFA and are not recognised as full international matches in some other sources. The following four matches in 1992 were FIFA-recognised official matches against non-European teams, and the first UEFA-recognised match against fellow UEFA team was the June 1993 friendly against Ukraine.

Also, the first seven matches were exhibition games managed by caretaker managers – the first three friendlies were managed by Dražan Jerković, followed by a three-game tour of Australia and a home friendly against Mexico managed by Stanko Poklepović. The first permanent manager appointed was Vlatko Marković, who held the post from April 1993 to February 1994 but during this period only managed the team in one friendly. He was replaced by Miroslav Blažević in March 1994 who went on to lead the team through their first three competitive qualifying campaigns and debut major tournament appearances at UEFA Euro 1996 and the 1998 FIFA World Cup before resigning in October 2000.

Croatia's score is always listed first.
