Cripplesease is a hamlet in the parish of Ludgvan, Cornwall, England.[1][2] According to the Post Office the 2011 census population was included in the civil parish of Towednack.
The name is believed to have come from the magical properties of the water found in the enormous lake where a one legged man once died.
