The station provides visitors with benches. Access is provided to the engine shed and visitors may choose to walk back to Cranmore through the shed. There is also a viewing gallery for the railways workshops.

History

Operations on the East Somerset Railway originally started at Cranmore West because Cranmore was still being used for BR freight traffic. [1]
