The Crandall Independent School District is a school district based in Crandall, in the U.S. state of Texas. The district serves Crandall and the south west portion of Kaufman County.
In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[1]
Schools
The district's schools include:
- Martin Elementary School (grades K-5)
- Walker Elementary School (grades K-5)
- Wilson Elementary School (grades K-5)
- Crandall Middle School (grades 6-8)
- Crandall High School (grades 9-12)
- Crandall Alternative Education Center
Five of the schools are in the city of Crandall. Walker Elementary is located in Heartland, Texas. Crandall Independent School District currently serves 2783 students. The district also serves the community by sharing resources for the local library and the Crandall Combine Community Center.
