Cory Aston (born 1 March 1995) is an English rugby league player who plays for Featherstone Rovers in the Kingstone Press Championship, on loan from Super League side Leeds Rhinos. He plays as a scrum-half or stand-off.[3]
Born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, Aston is a graduate of Sheffields Academy system.[4] He made his début for the Eagles in 2013.[5]
Career
Sheffield Eagles
He is the son of Sheffield Eagles head coach Mark Aston.[6] He graduated from the Eagles' academy and made his début in 2013 after signing a five year deal.
In 2016 Sheffield struggled on and off the pitch and Aston was sold to Super League side Leeds Rhinos for £75k on. 3yr deal beating off the likes of Wigan and Warrington for his signature He played 61 times for the Eagles scoring 718 points.
Leeds Rhinos
In November 2016, Aston signed a 2 year deal with Leeds providing cover for Danny McGuire.
