Víctor Teodoro Arano Armas (born February 7, 1995) is a Mexican professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Arano signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers as an international free agent in April 2013. He made his professional debut that season with the Arizona League Dodgers. On August 28, 2014, he was acquired by the Philadelphia Phillies as the player to be named later from and earlier trade for Roberto Hernández.[1] After the 2016 season he pitched in the Arizona Fall League.[2][3]

Aaron Joshua Brown (born June 20, 1992) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Brown was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 17th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft out of Chatsworth High School in Chatsworth, California. He did not sign with the Pirates and played college baseball at Pepperdine University, where he was both an outfielder and a pitcher.[4] After his sophomore season, Brown was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 30th round of the 2013 MLB Draft. He again did not sign and returned to Pepperdine. He was then drafted a third time, this time by the Philadelphia Phillies in the third round of the 2014 Draft.[5]

Brown signed with the Phillies and made his professional debut with the Williamsport Crosscutters.[6] He was later promoted to the Lakewood BlueClaws where he ended the season.[7]

Garrett J. Cleavinger (born April 23, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Cleavinger attended Lawrence High School in Lawrence, Kansas,[8] and the University of Oregon. He pitched for the Oregon Ducks in college baseball, serving as their closer for the Ducks in 2015.[9] The Orioles drafted Cleavinger in the third round of the 2015 MLB draft.[10]

On July 28, 2017, the Orioles traded Cleavinger and Hyun-soo Kim to the Phillies for Jeremy Hellickson.[11]

Elniery De Jesus García Sanchez (born December 24, 1994) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

García signed with the Philadelphia Phillies as an international free agent in December 2011. The Phillies added him to their 40-man roster after the 2016 season.[12]

Early in the 2017 season, García was suspended for 80 games for testing positive to boldenone, a performance-enhancing drug.[13]

Franklyn Kilome (born June 25, 1995) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Kilome signed with the Philadelphia Phillies as an international free agent in 2013.[14] He spent 2014 with the Gulf Coast Phillies where he posted a 3.12 ERA in 40 innings pitched. He pitched 2015 with the Williamsport Crosscutters[15][16] where he posted a 3-2 record with a 3.28 ERA. Kilome spent 2016 with the Lakewood BlueClaws where he had a 5-8 record with a 3.85 ERA.[17]

Adonis Medina Del Rosario (born December 18, 1996) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Medina signed with the Philadelphia Phillies as an international free agent in May 2014. He made his professional debut that season with the Dominican Summer League Phillies.

Medina played 2015 with the Gulf Coast Phillies, 2016 with the Williamsport Crosscutters and started 2017 with the Lakewood BlueClaws.[18][19][20]

McKenzie Valentine Mills (born November 19, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Drafted out of Sprayberry High School in the 18th round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft by the Washington Nationals, Mills forewent college to sign a professional contract.[21] After spending his first three years in the Nationals organization in the Gulf Coast League and with the Auburn Doubledays, Mills impressed upon his promotion to the Class-A Hagerstown Suns in 2017 and was named to the South Atlantic League's All-Star Game roster,[22] although he opted not to participate in the game.[23] Writing for MASN, Luke Erickson described the left-hander as enjoying a "breakout season" through the first half of the 2017 season,[24] as he posted a 2.31 ERA with 85 strikeouts and a 0.87 WHIP over 81⅔ innings as a starting pitcher through the end of June.[25][26]

The Nationals traded Mills to the Philadelphia Phillies on July 28, 2017, for Howie Kendrick.[27]

Andrew L. Pullin (born September 25, 1993) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Pullin graduated from Centralia High School in Centralia, Washington, in 2012. The Philadelphia Phillies selected him in the fifth round of the 2012 MLB draft.[28] In 2016, the Phillies promoted Pullin from the Clearwater Threshers of the Class A-Advanced Florida State League to Reading Fightin Phils of the Class AA Eastern League.[29][30]

Cornelius Cleopatrick Randolph (born July 2, 1997) is an American baseball outfielder.

Randolph attended Griffin High School in Griffin, Georgia. During Randolph's senior year, he hit .533 with 8 home runs and a 1.631 OPS.[31] The Philadelphia Phillies selected Randolph with the 10th pick in the first round of the 2015 MLB Draft.[32] Randolph signed with the Phillies, receiving a $3,231,300 signing bonus.[33] Randolph spent 2015 with the GCL Phillies where he batted .302. Randolph spent 2016 with the Lakewood BlueClaws where he posted a .274 batting average with 2 home runs and 27 RBI's.[34]

John Minoru Richy (born July 28, 1992) is a professional baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Richy was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 3rd round of the 2014 MLB Draft out of the University of Nevada–Las Vegas. He began his professional career that year with the rookie class Ogden Raptors and was promoted to the class-A Great Lakes Loons a few months later. He had a 3.74 ERA combined in 12 games for the two teams. In 2015, he began the season with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the Advanced-Class-A California League where he was 10–5 with a 4.20 ERA in 22 games (18 starts).

On August 19, 2015, he was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies (along with Darnell Sweeney) in exchange for Chase Utley.[35]

Sixto Sánchez Encarnacion (born July 29, 1998) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Sánchez signed with the Philadelphia Phillies as an international free agent in February 2015.[36] He made his professional debut that year with the Dominican Summer League Phillies. He pitched 2016 with the Gulf Coast Phillies.[37][38]

Cord William Sandberg (born January 2, 1995) is an American minor league baseball player. Sandberg attended Manatee High School in Bradenton, Florida. The Philadelphia Phillies selected him with the 89th pick in the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft. He is currently assigned to the Phillies' Class A South Atlantic League affiliate, the Lakewood BlueClaws.

Sandberg played on the varsity baseball team at Manatee High School for four years, and participated in the 2012 Perfect Game USA, one of the most selective baseball recruiting organizations for high schoolers.[39] Sandberg was also a football star, and was a dual threat quarterback for his entire high school career. He committed to attend Mississippi State University on a scholarship to play college football for the Mississippi State Bulldogs,[40] but was expected to be a high draft pick in the 2013 MLB Draft.[41]

The Philadelphia Phillies selected Sandberg with the 89th pick in the third round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft.[42] He has been assigned to the Phillies' Rookie level minor league affiliate, the GCL Phillies. In 48 games at that level, he batted .207 with 14 RBIs and 2 homeruns. Sandberg began the 2014 season with the Williamsport Crosscutters after being promoted to the Phillies' Class A-Short Season. He has spent much of the early season performing as lead off batter. Sandberg has since been moved up to the Lakewood BlueClaws of the Class A South Atlantic League

Sandberg's father, Chuck, is a former baseball player for the University of Florida and the Boston Red Sox organization.[43] Sandberg has been dating his girlfriend since their freshman year of high school;[44] she is currently in her second year at the University of Florida.[45]

Alberto Tirado (born December 10, 1994) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Tirado signed with the Toronto Blue Jays as an international free agent in July 2011 for $300,000.[46] He began his career in 2012 with the Gulf Coast League Blue Jays, where he made 11 starts and posted a 1–2 record with an earned run average of 2.68 in 37 innings pitched.[47] Tirado would finish the 2012 season with the Bluefield Blue Jays, earning a 2–0 record and 2.45 ERA in 3 starts.[47] In 2013, he would make 12 appearances for Bluefield, 8 of which were starts, and posted a 3–0 record with an impressive 1.68 ERA over 4813 innings.[47] Prior to the 2014 season, Baseball Prospectus rated Tirado as the 76th best prospect in baseball.[48]

Tirado began the 2014 season with the Low-A Vancouver Canadians and made 17 appearances (3 starts). He was then promoted to the Class-A Lansing Lugnuts and made another 13 appearances, 7 of which were starts. In total, Tirado posted a 2–2 record with a 5.00 ERA and 76 strikeouts over 7523 innings.[47] On July 31, 2015, Tirado was traded to the Philadelphia Philles, with Jimmy Cordero, for Ben Revere.[49] The Phillies added him to their 40-man roster after the 2016 season.[12]

Carlos Daniel Lugo Tocci (born August 23, 1995) is a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Tocci signed with the Philadelphia Phillies as an international free agent in August 2011.[50] He made his professional debut in 2012 with the Gulf Coast Phillies.[51] He spent 2013 and 2014 with the Lakewood BlueClaws.[52][53] He hit his professional home run in July 2014.

Jesmuel José Valentín (born May 12, 1994) is a Puerto Rican professional baseball second baseman and shortstop in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

The Los Angeles Dodgers selected Valentín in the first round of the 2012 MLB Draft (51st overall) out of the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy.[54] The Dodgers assigned him to the Arizona League Dodgers to begin his professional career, where he hit .211 in 43 games in 2012. He split 2013 between the Great Lakes Loons of the Midwest League and the Ogden Raptors of the Pioneer League and hit .264 in 95 games. He began 2014 with Great Lakes, where he hit .282 in 107 games.[55]

The Dodgers traded Valentín to the Phillies on August 16, 2014, as a player to be named later (along with Victor Arano) in a deal that sent Roberto Hernández to the Dodgers.[55]

On April 11, 2015, he was placed on the restricted list and suspended indefinitely following his arrest for a domestic violence incident.[56] The Phillies added him to their 40-man roster after the 2016 season.[12]

His father, José Valentín, played in Major League Baseball.

Thomas Joseph Windle (born March 10, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

Windle attended Osseo Senior High School in Osseo, Minnesota.[57] After his senior season, Windle was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 28th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft.[58] He did not sign and played college baseball at the University of Minnesota for the Gophers from 2011 to 2013. In three years, he appeared in 51 games with 20 starts and had a 2.26 earned run average (ERA).

Windle was then drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the second round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft.[59][60] He signed with the Dodgers and made his professional debut with the Great Lakes Loons.[61] In 2014, he pitched for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.

On December 19, 2014, Windle and Zach Eflin were traded to the Philadelphia Phillies in exchange for Jimmy Rollins.[62]
