Corinne Buie (born in Edina, Minnesota) is an American women’s ice hockey player with the Buffalo Beauts of the NWHL. During her career, she has won both the Clarkson Cup and the Isobel Cup.
Playing career
CWHL
On March 7, 2015, Buie appeared in the 2015 Clarkson Cup finals with the Boston Blades. With the game in overtime, Buie sent a pass to her former college roommate and teammate Janine Weber, with 2:12 in the overtime period, earning the Boston Blades their second Clarkson Cup.
NWHL
On December 31, 2015, Buie and the Boston Pride participated in the 2015 Women's Winter Classic, the first outdoor professional women’s hockey game.[1]
Buie signed a one-year, $13,000 contract with the Buffalo Beauts as a free agent on July 27, 2016.[2] Buie became the only player in the NWHL to win the Isobel Cup two times in a row after the Buffalo Beauts won the 2017 Isobel Cup.[3]
In May 2017, Buie re-signed with the Buffalo Beauts for the 2017/18 season.[4]
