Connie Colla is an American former television news anchor and host, who is currently a real estate agent in Greater Phoenix.[1] She has anchored in San Diego, Phoenix, and Philadelphia, and has done weather reports on Weekend Today on NBC.

Early life

Colla was born in Great Falls, Montana and graduated from Montana State University.[2] She also was Miss Montana USA 1987.

Career

Connie Colla is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and a former Board Member for The Associated Services For The Blind in Philadelphia. Most of her other charity work focuses on women and children. For eight years, she hosted "The Children's Miracle Network Celebration" for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Colla has been a guest host on The Fretz Kitchen, a nationally syndicated cooking show. She has won several Emmy awards for her work during her career.[3]

Colla moved to Arizona in 2013 to anchor the morning and midday news at KNXV-TV in Phoenix. Colla left the channel to start her own consulting company; her last day at the station was on December 4, 2014.[4]

Personal life

Colla is married to Dave Bentley and lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with their two children.[5]
