Consciousness and Cognition
The journal Consciousness and Cognition (ISSN 1053-8100) provides a forum for scientific approaches to the issues of consciousness, voluntary control, and self. The journal was launched by Bernard Baars and William Banks. [1] It features empirical research (in the form of regular articles and short reports) and theoretical articles. Integrative theoretical and critical literature reviews, and tutorial reviews are also published. Also, Special Issues on selected topics in scientific studies of consciousness are published. The journal aims to be both scientifically rigorous and open to novel contributions. The journal's editor-in-chief positions were held by Bernard Baars, late William Banks and late Bruce Bridgeman. Currently the Editorial team includes Gregory Francis, Michael Graziano, J. Timothy Lane, Antti Revonsuo, Devin Terhune, and Talis Bachmann (editor-in-chief). .
