Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus is a 5-star hotel, located in the city center of Istanbul and near the shores of the Bosphorus.
Established in 1988 and started operations in 1992, Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus, has been recognized as Turkey's Leading Conference Hotel for the second consecutive year at the European final of the renowned World Travel Awards 2014, won the Five Star Diamond Award for 5 consecutive years and has been selected The Leading Business Hotel of Europe numerous times. It has been selected Turkey's Leading Hotel 2016 by the World Travel Awards.[1][2]
The architecture of the building is inspired by historical fortresses. It's a high-rise modern building, 20 floors and estimated height of 78.38 m.[3]
There are totally 553 rooms including 76 suites spread to fourteen floors. There are conference center spread to connected 3 floors of 3000 m2, total 2 ballrooms, one of them being one of the biggest astylar ballrooms of Istanbul, 27 multi-purpose meeting rooms and 24-hour service Business Center. In the end of 2014 Aksoy Holding completed a major, 65 Million USD, renovation investment that transformed almost every aspect of the hotel.[1] The renovation of the lobby area exhibits art of Turkish painters, including Hüseyin Avni Lifij, Halil Paşa, Canan Tolon, and Faruk Cimok.[4]
