School District 52 Prince Rupert is a school district in British Columbia. It serves the City of Prince Rupert and the outlying First Nation village at Hartley Bay.
History
School District 52 of Prince Rupert had just recently settled an argument on whether or not to cut back and close down 2 of the 3 unsafe schools in Prince Rupert. The district had won the argument and closed both Seal Cove Elementary and Kanata Elementary in June 2008.
In the fall of 2011 School District 52 has reconfigured into Elementary School (K-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12).
