Comstock's is a monthly business publication in the Sacramento Region. The magazine was founded in 1989 by Winnie Comstock-Carlson, who serves as president and publisher.[2][3][4]

Readers can find editorial content that may include construction, real estate, venture capital, technology and politics. From their masthead: "Comstock's magazine covers commerce and community in the counties of Amador, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba."

A typical issue of Comstock's will include regular columns including "Evil HR Lady," regarding an HR-related dilemma sent in by a reader; "Discourse," a Q&A with a local politician or business person; "Teambuilding," written by a local business coach; and "Taste," about the business of food and agriculture. The main editorial content includes 4 to 5 feature stories that vary in subject from month to month. Often, but not monthly, a special promotional section will be included and cover topics or counties. At the end of every issue, a photo essay titled "SNAP" covers people in the region doing interesting jobs.

Comstock's annually prints a regional guide to non-profits and foundations called "Capital Region Cares" The 21st annual issue was released in September 2016.

In 2012, the magazine won the Western Publishing Association's Maggie Awards for "Best Cover" and "Best Business Finance Magazine".[5][6]
