Communauté d'agglomération du Grand Besançon

Communauté d'agglomération du Grand Besançon is the communauté d'agglomération, an intercommunal structure, centred on the city of Besançon. It is located in the Doubs department, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, northeastern France. It was created in December 2000. Its population was 197,924 in 2014, of which 120,472 in Besançon proper.[1]
