College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (abbreviated as CPSP) is an autonomous institution offering certification following postgraduate training in specialties of Medicine, Surgery & Dentistry. It is also the only examination body in Pakistan awarding degrees of FCPS, DCPS, MCPS.[1][2][3][4][5]

The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan was incorporated through Ordinance of 1962 issued on 19 May 1962.

The Library of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan was established in 1965 and since its inception has acquired latest medical literature and served as a focal point in supporting postgraduate medical education.

CPSP is the only institute in Pakistan which conducts official ATLS and ACS courses.[10]

Awards

College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan was awarded "Best postgraduate institution of the world" in 2013 by Socrates Committee of Europe Business Assembly[11][12], a vanity award.
