Colin Clark (born 12 February 1968) is a Scottish Conservative Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Gordon[1] since 8 June 2017.[2] He unseated the former SNP leader and First Minister Alex Salmond by 2,607 votes.[3]
Clark was educated at Turriff Academy and the University of Edinburgh; and worked in agriculture until his election to the House of Commons.[4]
Prior to winning Gordon at the 2017 general election, Clark had previously contested the East Aberdeenshire constituency in the 2016 Holyrood elections and finished second to the SNP's Gillian Martin with a 29.0% share of the vote.
