Cloudreach is an international cloud computing consultancy that specialises in the planning, implementation and operational support of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Salesforce.com cloud solutions. It is also a Blackstone Group Investment Portfolio company.[1] The company is headquartered in London, UK, and has offices in multiple countries around the world including the US, Canada, Amsterdam, France, Switzerland and Germany.

Cloudreach is essentially an advisor and integrator to enterprises with greater than $1 billion in revenues that wish to move some or all of their IT functions to public cloud environments.[2] Customers include travel booking sites Skyscanner and Trainline and publisher Time Inc..[3]

Cloudreach has developed two in-house systems: Sceptre, an infrastructure automation suite for AWS, and Connect, an integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS). Whilst competitors of Connect, such as MuleSoft offer Cloud-based integration focussed on APIs and other online services, Cloudreach also offers solutions focused purely on integration services with cloud environments.[2]

History

Cloudreach was founded in London in 2009 by Pontus Noren and James Monico.[4] In its 2015 report, research group Fast Track said that Cloudreach was among the 20 fastest-growing British technology companies.[5]

In February 2017, Cloudreach was acquired by major global investor Blackstone for an undisclosed amount.[6] Noren, a cofounder, will remain as CEO with Dave Johnson, a senior Blackstone advisor, becoming Chairman of the Board of Directors.[5]

Awards and accolades

In 2013, Cloudreach was named the Sunday Times Best Small Company to Work For, receiving praise for its leadership, company values and fair treatment of its staff.[7]
