Climbing garden
In climbing, a climbing garden is usually an outcrop of rock equipped with bolts to allow a form of rock climbing known as sport climbing. Usually the routes in a climbing garden are short and are used mainly as introductory climbs by professional climbing schools or instructors, to introduce the novice to rock climbing in a fairly safe environment. Climbing gardens are found in both France and Switzerland, where they are recognized as a way of developing tourism.
