Church at Charlotte is a multi-site church in Charlotte, NC.[1] The church is a member of the Evangelical Free Church of America[2] denomination. The original campus is in the SouthPark area of Charlotte and the second campus is in Matthews, NC. Weekend services on both campuses average about 2,500 attendees. Services at the SouthPark campus are held on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings.[3] Services at the Matthews campus are held on Sunday mornings.[4] The church's mission statement is to be "a community of believers that is stirred by Scripture, struggles well with life, and serves others."[5]

History

Church at Charlotte was founded in August 1973. Since 1976, the church has met at its SouthPark location off Carmel Road. The Matthews campus was launched in 2015. Jim Kallam Jr. has been the church's Senior Pastor since 1982.[6]

Ministries

Church at Charlotte's multi-site campuses each have a variety of ministry options for adults,[7] students,[8] and children.[9]
