Chrzanowo [xʂaˈnɔvɔ] (German: Chrzanowen (1933-45:Kalkofen)) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ełk, within Ełk County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Ełk and 119 km (74 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
