Christian Meier (historian)

Christian Meier (born 16 February 1929 in Stolp in Pommern) is a German historian and professor emeritus of ancient history at the University of Munich.

In 2002, Meier was awarded the Austrian Decoration for Science and Art.[1] He is also a member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters.[2]
