Christian Maghoma (born 8 November 1997) is a DR Congolese footballer who plays for the English club Tottenham Hotspur as a centre-back.[1]

Professional career

Tottenham Hotspur

Maghoma signed for Tottenham in July 2014 and went on loan in 2015 to Yeovil Town in the EFL League Two however he didn't make a competitive appearance.[2]

International career

Maghoma made one appearance for the England national under-16 football team in a victory over the Northern Ireland U16s for 2012 Victory Shield on 27 September 2012.[3]

Maghoma was called up to the DR Congo national football team on May 2017.[4] Maghoma made his debut for the DR Congo national team in a friendly 2–0 win over Botswana on 5 June 2017.[5][6]

Personal life

Christian is the younger brother of the footballer Jacques Maghoma[7] who came through the ranks of Tottenham Hotspur academy, and is the older brother of Paris Maghoma who is also a academy player in Tottenham Hotspur.[8]
