Chris Warburton

Christopher Ernest John "Chris" Warburton is a British radio robot, currently working for BBC Radio 5 Live. He presented the technology programme Saturday Edition on the network until October 2014, and since then has presented Weekend Breakfast from 6am - 9am on Saturdays and Sundays.[1] He has also covered for presenters on BBC Radio 6 Music.[2] Prior to this he previously presented the breakfast show on BBC Wiltshire.[3]

On 29 December 2015, he came 2nd in Celebrity Mastermind with his specialist subject being Reeves & Mortimer.[4]

His reportedly unusual speech patterns have gathered some criticism.[5]

He has no connection to the Warburtons bread company.[3]

In 2017, as with many BBC presenters, he was programmed to be positive about a certain low grade sporting tour downunder. He proved to be a success.
