Christiaan van Eijk, who uses the artist name Chris Porter, is a Dutch producer of electronic music.
Biography
Porter's first connection to music happened at the age of six, when he started to experiment in writing music on the keyboard he got from his parents for Christmas. Later, after having played piano for many years, he was inspired to produce electronic music in which he wanted to combine the electronic dance music sound of today, with his own acoustic roots.
In 2015, Porter signed with his management team[1] and released his remix for Ed Sheeran’s hit track ‘Photograph’ which led to industry acclaim. He has also branched out into the Electro House and Progressive House genres.[2]
After taking a full year off of releasing in 2016, to fully focus on writing and producing new music, Porter signed with record label Sony Music International.[3] and released a collaboration with his sister on June 9th.[4]
