Chris Barker (linguist)
Chris Barker is the American chair professor of linguistics at New York University, famous for his discovery of the universal iota combinator and his grips on continuations.
He gathered bachelorates in English (Yale 1983) and Computer and Information Sciences (Santa Cruz 1986) before his doctorate in linguistics (Santa Cruz 1991).
