Chrášťany is a village and municipality (obec) in České Budějovice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 22.93 square kilometres (8.85 sq mi), and has a population of 717 (as at 3 July 2006).
Chrášťany lies approximately 37 kilometres (23 mi) north of České Budějovice and 88 km (55 mi) south of Prague.
