The blue-crowned chlorophonia (Chlorophonia occipitalis) is a species of bird in the Fringillidae family. It is found in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
