Chismol

Chirimol, chirmol o chimol is a common Salvadorean cuisine topping on foods such as carne asada.

Preparation

Chismol is made of tomato, onion, bell pepper, and/or radish. It is seasoned with vinegar, lime juice, salt, black pepper or cumin. Modifications to the recipe exist depending on different regions of Central America.
