Chinattus is a genus of spiders in the family Salticidae (jumping spiders). Most of the described species occur in China and nearby countries, with C. caucasicus reaching into Iran. C. parvulus is found in North America.[1]

Name

The genus name is combined from China and the common ending for salticid genera -attus.
