Child Abuse Review is a bimonthly peer-reviewed academic journal with a focus on child protection, particularly: research findings, practice developments, training initiatives and policy issues. It is also the official journal of British Association for the Study and Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (BASPCAN).[1]
It is co-edited by Jane V. Appleton (Oxford Brookes University), and Peter Sidebotham (University of Warwick).[2]
According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2014 impact factor of 0.841, ranking it 18th out of 40 journals in the category "Social Work" and 27th out of 40 journals in the category "Family Studies".[3]
