Shao-Ching Chiang (born November 10, 1993) is a Taiwanese baseball player for the Cleveland Indians organization.
From 2012-2014, Chiang played for the Arizona League Indians, making just one appearance in each of his first two years but 10 in 2014, finishing with a 4-2 record and a 4.53 ERA.[1] This earned him a promotion to the Mahoning Valley Scrappers of the New York-Penn League for 2015. In 2016, he played for the Lake County Captains of the Class A Midwest League.[2] Chiang has also represented Chinese Taipei internationally. He appeared in the baseball competition at the 2014 Asian Games in South Korea, winning a silver medal.[3] He later appeared in the 2017 World Baseball Classic, pitching 4.1 innings in one appearance against the Netherlands. He began the season at the Class A-Advanced Lynchburg Hillcats of the Carolina League.[4]
