Chennai Live - 104.8 (a part of the Muthoot Group) is a radio station in the city of Chennai.
Chennai Live started off as the city's first talk- radio station, with a variety of shows on current events, sports, lifestyle and more.
Chennai Live 104.8FM is the only English radio station in the city and plays international music from an array of genres such as pop, rock, rock & roll, R&B, hip-hop, top 100 hits, and more. The station also features independent English music by musicians the state of Tamil Nadu.
Our Programmes
Metro Mornings (7am - 11am)
Metro Mornings is presented by Shilpa Natarajan, from 7am to 11am on weekdays. The show focuses on music-related news from across the world, sports and entertainment based news. The show is all about getting people 'up and going' in the morning, to make their morning’s better, it discusses about the most talked subjects and engaging people with on air contest (Radio Roulette).
TED TALKS are featured on Mondays on Metro Mornings, from 8am-9am.
Spotlight is a segment on Metro Mornings which is aired on Tuesdays and Thursdays where an individual from the Business, sports, entertainment world are interviewed.
Jam With Jilpaa is a segment which is aired on Fridays from 10am-11am, where a college musician jams with Shilpa and showcases his/ her musical talents through covers and original compositions.
The Drive (6pm-9pm)
The Drive is presented by Angira Mukherjee from 6pm to 9pm on weekdays.
The show consists of various elements from trivia to sports to contests. The show also features individual exclusive segments where interesting people from various walks of life as well as food, fashion, artists and everything trending are interviewed and featured.
Legends of Music every Tuesday from 7 pm – 8 pm
With new artists rising to fame and the trend constantly changing, this show is dedicated for the legends in the music industry, who have made their mark. A special artist will be chosen every week and playing their music exclusively throughout the hour; a tribute to celebrate their music and their work. Picking legendary artist that our listeners love, Legends of Music is a show of celebration.

The show is presented by Shilpa Natarajan and covers everything you need to know about what's been trending worldwide, that week. An hour about a particular TV show that is selected and spoken about and of course, an hour that features a musician/ band.
The Travel Show, every Sunday from 9 am – 11 am by Angira Mukherjee
A show completely dedicated to all the travel buffs and all those who are planning a trip for the holiday season. The Travel Show takes the audience on an audio tour to countries from every continent around the globe. From each unforgettable destination to exotic locations, to the things that can be done, places to visit, places to stay to experiencing its vibrant culture like its cuisines, festivals, clothing, rituals and other defining factors.
Each week the show highlights a different international destination and places in India. Local businesses, artists, nightclubs, restaurants, boutique hotels, and museums are all featured. Budget conscious travelers can find all the information they need in every episode, as dining out on a dime and hotels for less are. The first hour (9 am – 10 am) gives a wide insight of travelling destinations across India and the second hour (10am – 11am) gives the insight about the travelling destination across the globe.
