Chand Sultan

Chand Sultan-died 1739 was the successor of Bakht Buland Shah of Deogarh He carried out further reforms in his kingdom. . . He constructed the famous JummaTalao that had in built steps & also provided water supply to the city of Nagpur. He also built a wall around the entire city, stretching almost 3 miles and having five soild gates . The Jumma Gate still stands today, renamed as the Gandhi Gate. [1]

He was succeeded by Wali Shah.
