Chance Adams (born August 10, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Yankees organization.

Career

Adams attended Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. He played college baseball at Yavapai College for two years before transferring to Dallas Baptist University. After one year at Dallas Baptist, Adams was drafted by the New York Yankees in the fifth round of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft.[1] He made his professional debut with the Staten Island Yankees and was later promoted to the Charleston RiverDogs and Tampa Yankees.[2] Adams was converted into a starting pitcher in 2016 and started the year with Tampa.[3] In June, he was promoted to the Trenton Thunder.[4] Adams finished 2016 with a 13-1 record with a 2.33 ERA.[5][6][7] Adams opened the 2017 back with the Double A Trenton Thunder. Then after a couple starts was promoted to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.[8][9][10]
