Chainat Hornbill Football Club (Thai สโมสรฟุตบอลชัยนาท ฮอร์นบิล) is a Thai professional football club based in Chai Nat Province. The club currently plays in Thai League 2.
History
Chainat Hornbill Football Club is a professional football club that founded in 2009 by Anucha Nakasai, a former Thai politician, the club was placed the best management class as a result, have developed rapidly since the first season. The Hornbills owners ranked third place with contributions coming 20 match wins 12 draws 3 and loses 5 keep 39 points in the Regional League Division 2 season of 2009 the first top scorer of the club is Sanogo Abou with 15 goals, and that was a good start for them to retake one of the greatest clubs in the northern part of Thailand. In 2012 the club was promoted to the top league Thai League 1 for the club first time. In 2016 the club captured the former Liverpool player Florent Pongolle and he made a great performance with 13 goals become the top scorer of the club in this season but unfortunately, the club was relegated to Thai League 2.
