Centre for Kurdish Progress

The Centre for Kurdish Progress was founded in 2014 by Ibrahim Dogus,[1][2] as a platform for discussion of issues affecting Kurdish-speakers in the UK and Kurdish regions in the Middle East.[3][4] The centre holds regular discussion events on issues affecting Kurdish-speakers in the UK and Kurdish regions in the Middle East. Often these events are held in the UK Houses of Parliament.[5][6]

The Centre for Kurdish Progress organises an annual celebration of the Kurdish New Year, Newroz, in the UK parliament,[7][8][9] in conjunction with the Kurd of the Year awards ceremony.[10][11][12][13]
