Center for Studies for Development (Centro de Estudo para o Desenvolvimento) are one of four campuses of the University of São Tomé and Príncipe. it is located the village of Piedade, west of the capital city of São Tomé in the suburban area. The college offers agricultural courses.
History
The college was founded by UNESCO and the Italian National Cooperation Association and Nuova Frontiera in June 1988[1] as Center for Agricultural (or Agro-Cattle) Technical Improvement (Centro de Aperfeiçoamento Técnico Agropecuário, CATAP), it was converted to a fish center.[2] under the name Center for Development Studies.[3] with vocation for agro-nutritional scientists.[4]

It is the only that only offers technical courses in the agricultural area.
