Celia Jiménez Delgado (born 20 June 1995) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a right wing-back, currently playing for Alabama Crimson Tide in the NCAA, and the Spanish national team.[2]

College career

Jiménez began her collegiate career at Iowa Western Community College where she collected 21 goals and 11 assists in 23 total matches. In 2015, she transferred to Alabama University. In her first season with the Crimson Tide, Jiménez was selected All-SEC second team and was a member of the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week for the week of Sept. 15, as a result of her game-winning goal in the 3-2 double-overtime comeback victory against LSU.

National career

She was selected as part of Spain's squad at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup.[1] Jiménez earned a start in all three of Spain's matches in the country's first appearance in the World Cup. She has represented Spain on every youth national team from the age of 14 onward with a total of 12 appearances with the U-19 team and 12 appearances with the U-17 team.[3]
