Catfight is an American action comedy film directed and written by Onur Tukel. The film stars Sandra Oh, Anne Heche, Alicia Silverstone, Amy Hill, Myra Lucretia Taylor, Ariel Kavoussi, Craig Bierko, and Dylan Baker. The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2016, before being released in a limited release and through video on demand on March 3, 2017, by Dark Sky Films.

Plot

Two bitter rivals pursue a grudge match that spans a lifetime. Struggling outsider artist Ashley Miller (Heche) and wealthy housewife Veronica Salt (Oh) were close in college, but have not seen each other since. When they find themselves attending the same glitzy birthday party, verbal barbs lead to fisticuffs and an all-out brawl that keeps these two locked in combat for years to come.

Principal photography on the film wrapped up in late December 2015 in New York City.[2] The film was produced by MPI Media Group's Greg Newman along with Gigi Graff.[1]

Release

The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2016.[3] Shortly after, Dark Sky Films acquired distribution rights to the film, and set it for a March 3, 2017, limited release and through video on demand.[4]
