Carolyn Owlett

Carolyn Julia Owlett (born 8 March 1984 in South London), is a British model, actress, presenter, broadcast journalist, producer and was a singer/songwriter with R&B group The 411.

The 411

The 411's first single "On My Knees" with Ghostface Killah went to No. 4 in the UK chart whilst the second single "Dumb" reached No. 3 in the UK Chart. A third single, "Teardrops" and an album Between the Sheets followed[1] but the group disbanded and went their own way in early 2005.

Solo career

Owlett was asked, along with Suzie Furlonger also from The 411, to sign a separate deal with Polydor at the end of 2005, although they never found the right single and parted ways in 2006.

Owlett is a co director of CleanFeed Media, a successful broadcast media agency based in East London.

She was the face of Amplified clothing in 2008, 2009 and 2010[2] and made an 'Axe' hair care commercial for the US. Also a television presenter, Carolyn's credits include pieces for Current TV.[2] Her 2008 programme Sexy Girls Have it Easy had over 40,000 views in the first month alone and by October 2010 had the highest ever online views for the channel.[2] She has also written articles for Marie Claire magazine,[3] and is a producer for a Broadcast PR company.

Personal life

Owlett lives in Dalston, East London with her sons, Billy and Cassius. She is part of trendy mum group Mothers Meeting and appears in the Motivation News article. In October 2010, she revealed she had been a victim of an identity theft on Facebook.[4][5]
