Carmen A. Piccone (August 19, 1929 – July 10, 2005)[1] was an American football coach. He was the ninth head football coach for the Southern Illinois Salukis in Carbondale, Illinois and he held that position for five seasons, from 1959 until 1963. His record at Southern Illinois was 28–20. This ranks him sixth at SIU in terms of total wins and third at SIU in terms of winning percentage. [2]
