Carly Hill
Carly Hill (born 6 March 1986, Beaconsfield, Quebec, Canada ) is a Canadian ice hockey player.
Raised in the West Island of Montreal,[1] Hill began playing hockey at age nine, having previously played ringette since she was five.[2] With the Quebec hockey team, she won a silver medal at the 2003 Canada Winter Games.
Hill played for five years (2006 to 2011) with the McGill Martlets where she helped her team win three CIS championships (2008, 2009 and 2011).,[3][4] She holds the record (231) for games played.[2]
She debuted with the Montreal Stars in 2011-12 in the Canadian Women's Hockey League as defense. At the Clarkson Cup, during the Montreal Stars - Blades match in Boston, when both teams were tied 4-4 after the three prescribed periods and a few minutes in overtime, Hill made a quick pass to Caroline Ouellette Of an accurate shot marks the winning goal 5 . With this victory, the Stars eliminate Boston and pass in the final of the Clarkson Cup 5 .
A member of the Canadian National University Team, Hill won a gold medal at two World University Games (2009 and 2011).[5]
