Carlo Luigi Morichini
Carlo Luigi Morichini (1805–1879) was an Italian Cardinal.
In 1845 he became Apostolic Nuncio to Bavaria with residence in Munich, and titular archbishop of Nisibis. In 1848 he was sent on a diplomatic mission to mediate between Austro-Hungary and Piedmont.
He was created Cardinal in 1852, and became bishop of Jesi. He became archbishop of Bologna in 1871,.[1] He ceased in that see on December 22, 1876, and became cardinal-bishop of Albano in 1877. He participated in the 1878 conclave.
