Caribattus is a monotypic genus of spiders in the Salticidae family with the single described species C. inutilis.[1] It occurs on Jamaica.
Name
The genus name is combined from Caribbean and the common ending for salticid genera -attus. The species name inutilis is Latin for "useless".
