Caquetaia umbrifera, commonly known as the turquoise cichlid, is a species of fish endemic to the basins of the Atrato and Magdalena rivers of Colombia, and the Tuira and Chucunaque rivers of Panama. The species is carnivorous and feeds mostly on shrimp, crab, and fish of the Astyanax genus.[1]
