Cannon (ITT Corporation)
Cannon is a division of ITT Corporation that specialises in the manufacture of connectors, electrical cable assemblies, keypads and LAN components.
History
It was founded in 1915 by James H. Cannon in Los Angeles, California.
In 1952 it invented the industry-standard D-sub connector.[1]
In 1963 it was acquired by ITT.[2]
