Calla Lily is an experimental Canadian film directed by Mark Penney.
Calla Lily tells the story of Melanie Lauzon, who was drugged and raped while in college. Now ten years later, she is the mother of a young child and is in an abusive relationship. When Melanie has a chance encounter with someone from her past it leads Melanie to evaluate her past, present, and future.
The film was produced in 2015 in a surreal stye with non-actors.
It was released in American cinemas and on video-on-demand in May 2016.
