History
Call2Recycle, Inc. is committed to protecting and preserving the environment through responsible consumer battery and cellphone recycling. Founded in 1994, the not-for-profit organization works on behalf of stakeholders to provide its battery and cellphone recycling program to consumers across the U.S. and Canada through convenient drop-off locations, including retailers and local communities. Since inception, the Call2Recycle program has kept over 130 million pounds (59 million kilograms) of batteries out of local landfills.
