Calera High School is a high school located in Calera, Alabama. The principal of the school is Joel Dixon. The assistant-principal is Chris Sims.[1][2][3][4][5]
The athletic teams compete in the 5A division of Alabama High School Athletic Association competition. The basketball team is led by basketball coach Robert Burdette. He has led the team to several state championships.
Band
The Calera Marching Eagle Band is the largest organization at the school. The band was led by Mr. Ted Seabury until 2011, after his retirement the band was under the leadership of Mr. Ryan Murrell for one year after Mr. Seabury's retirement. The band is now led by Mr. Luke Manning. The band was invited and marched in the 2013 Presidential Inauguration Parade.[6]
